The exhibition in short implements the idea of the reverse process of developing images. During the duration of the display the images gradually fading out until almost nothing will remain at the end.
Based on the series and photo book “Disappearance” it is a personal story of experiences while gradually losing contact with my children after divorce. The project told from the perspective of the father questions issues of identity belonging and connections. It started as a diary then become a photo book and now evolved into multimedia exhibition where I examine limits of the photography as a medium, which carries memories.
The exhibition has been shown in Berlin at Zonoteka Gallery during the 48 Neukolln Festival and also has been shortlisted and shown in Toulouse during this year’s Manifesto Festival.
